About me

Born some time ago now in Tamaki Makaurau | Auckland.

A childhood spent immersed in the sea or scaling cliffs and hanging in the branches of pōhutukawa trees, which clung to the cliffs overlooking the sea. Otherwise, it was spent roaming the local bush and shrieking as our older brother dangled slithery tuna/eels far too close to our faces. School holidays were spent camping at beaches up north or down south at our grandparents’ farm in Whanganui — my mother’s birthplace.
Those places, those memories, along with my whanau, my loved ones, they are my taonga. They remind me what matters.

That sense of connection, of place, of life.

My background includes leading the photography studio at Studiomicrodot for the Times Media Group in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland. Before this role as the studio manager, I was a freelance editorial and commercial photographer in Tāmaki Makaurau and Sydney. My focus is on producing authentic imagery that feels honest, emotive and timeless.
